Copper Clad Steel (CCS) Tracer Wire is a solid steel core conductor with a concentrically clad copper coating and insulated with a high molecular weight polyethylene (HMWPE). The copper cladding measures 3% of the conductor diameter and has a total conductivity per IACS. Manufactured to UL constructions in 30 V and 600 V (and listed as 30V, 600V and 1KV options) for use at a maximum continuous operating temperature of 75°C in wet and dry conditions. CCS offers higher tensile (breaking) strength for directional boring and other applications; available in sizes #18 through #8 AWG, multiple colors, and standard spool lengths of 500 or 2500 feet.
