The SnakePit® Lite Duty Two-Terminal Switchable Lid (LD14N2T-SW) is an at-grade tracer wire access point lid that provides a secure, external connection for utility locators to hook to a tracer wire system and to the ground rod. The two-terminal switchable lid includes an external ground switch that allows locators to turn the ground on/off from the top of the lid (no need to remove the lid), saving time and improving locate accuracy. The access point system includes anti-corrosion gel to protect connections, a locking cover with pentagon-head hardware to deter tampering, and an encapsulated magnet for easy detection by ferrous magnetic locators. The lid is injection-molded resin with high mechanical and thermal properties; the base is high-grade ABS (ASTM D1788). This MCN uses APWA color code 'N' (Orange).
