Pro-Trace HDD-CCS PE45/PE50 tracer wire is formulated for Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) featuring a conductor core made of Extra High-Strength Copper Clad Steel (EHS-CCS). This conductor material provides nearly 700% the break load of copper which allows for single-wire installation in Directional Drilling/Boring applications. It is rated for direct burial. The wire combines optimal strength, ductility, and durability. The insulation is 45 mil thick and consists of High-Density, High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (HDHMWPE). The Stranded Conductor Core Type and 50 mil insulation on this product only apply to the 4AWG Gauge Size.
