Pro-Trace HDD-CCS PE45/PE50 tracer wire is formulated for Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) featuring an Extra High-Strength Copper Clad Steel (EHS-CCS) conductor core. The conductor provides nearly 700% the break load of copper enabling single-wire installation for directional drilling/boring applications. Insulation is High-Density, High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (HDHMWPE) at 45 mil thickness (600V). Product is rated for direct burial and is abrasion-, chemical-, crush-, impact-, moisture- and oil-resistant. Available gauges include 4, 8, 9, 10, 12 and 14 AWG and reel sizes include 500', 1,000', 2,500' and 5,000'.
