Copperhead SuperFlex™ #16 AWG copper-clad steel (CCS) tracer wire with 30 mil HDPE insulation designed for light-duty open-cut/trenching/plowing applications. The SuperFlex product combines a fully annealed low-carbon steel core with a metallurgically bonded copper cladding to provide superior strength and corrosion resistance while remaining flexible like solid copper. It is color-coded to meet APWA standards, rated for direct burial at 30 V, and is available on 500, 1000, and 2500 ft spools. Typical uses include installation with underground plastic utility pipes, wires, and cables to ensure future location.
