The MaxTester 730D (MAX-730D) is a PON/metro OTDR optimized to test through optical splitters up to 1 128, ensuring end-to-end FTTH characterization. It is a fully featured, entry-level, dedicated OTDR with a tablet-inspired design, 7-inch outdoor-enhanced touchscreen, 12-hour autonomy and support for iOLM. The unit provides high dynamic range (up to 39 dB) and short dead zones for FTTx, live testing at 1650 nm, and options such as built-in power meter, VFL, and swap-out optical connectors. Accessories include carrying cases and AC adapter/battery; configurable module options are available via EXFO accessories/EXFO Exchange.
