High Strength Copper-Clad Steel (CCS) tracer wire. #8 AWG (0.1285” diameter) fully annealed, high carbon 1055 grade steel core with a copper cladding, rated at 30 volts and insulated with 30 mil HDPE insulation for direct burial. HS-CCS conductor is manufactured to provide ~21% conductivity for locating signals and an average break load of 830 lbs.
