GMP toneable/detectable duct rodders are designed for detecting, tracing, and mapping duct routes without digging. The detectable/toneable rodder (P/N 91238) is a 3/8 in. (9 mm) diameter fiberglass rod, 1000 ft. (305 m) long, with an embedded 18 AWG copper conductor. The rod is high-visibility orange and marked every 2 ft. The rod is housed in a rugged, powder-coated tubular steel carrier with a hand-operated brake and large airless tires for transport. The detectable conductor is connected to the end fittings to allow the use of a signal transmitter and receiver for tracing.
