AFL’s FUSEConnect fusion-spliced, field installable connectors are factory pre-polished, field-installable connectors that eliminate the need for hand polishing, adhesives, and crimping in the field. The FUSEConnect family utilizes a fusion splicer to terminate the connector in the field and address return loss concerns. The product yields true APC performance for APC configurations and is compatible with Fujikura fusion splicers and most other fiber holder-based fusion splicing platforms.
