The CT50 features automated (motorized) blade rotation, unprecedented durability, and simplified maintenance. Paired with Bluetooth-enabled Fujikura splicers, blade positions can be automatically advanced based on cleave count or cleave quality; manual advance is available via push-button. The 16-position blade provides long life (60,000 single-fiber cleaves or 5,000 12-fiber ribbon cleaves). The clamp opens beyond 90° for easy viewing of the distance scale; a built-in scrap collector stores fiber shards. CT50 is ruggedized for shock resistance and is field serviceable.
