CommScope's OFDC (Outdoor Fiber Distribution Closure) family is a modular, gel-sealed outdoor fiber splice/patch enclosure designed for splice-only, pre-connectorized drop, or field-installable connector solutions. The OFDC family (A4, B8G, C12 series) provides separate zones for looped cable storage, splicing and patching, removable fiber management sections, and supports installation in pedestals, handholes, poles or strand mounts. The enclosures accept optical components (splitters, adapters, pigtails), use compressed gel cable sealing and are IP68 (2 m waterhead) rated.
