Optical fiber cores and cladding are made at its Claremont, North Carolina plant — now under a $50M modernization — from preform glass of U.S. origin. Cabling also runs in Lexington, South Carolina and Jackson, Tennessee, a plant retooled from copper to fiber with a $30M investment.

ResiLink™ Flat Drop Cable

The drop family, 1 to 48 fibers across four variants. ResiLink™ Flat Drop is the volume workhorse at 1–24 fibers in dielectric or toneable construction. ResiLink™ Mini-Flat Drop comes in dielectric or toneable construction with a simplex 900 µm tight-buffered fiber, dry water-blocking, a dual strength member design, an MDPE jacket, and a maximum span of 160 ft under NESC loading. Prysmian states it delivers approximately 20% reduced cross-sectional surface area and greater than 50% weight reduction versus traditional flat drop designs; the toneable version adds a co-extruded 24 AWG tracer wire. ResiLink™ All-Dielectric Drop Cable carries 36 or 48 fibers in a dual buffer tube design for self-support, duct, or buried applications. ResiLink™ Universal Service Drop covers single-fiber service work.
