Let’s Hear What His Manager, Yelena Birg, Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, Has to Say:
In just over six months as a Senior Financial Analyst, Josh has truly demonstrated what it means to be curious at Millennium.
From day one, Josh has put his clients first. Whether supporting leadership by improving financial reporting and analytics through Domo, developing new metrics to help Sales Leaders manage performance and gross profit margins, or partnering with Accounting colleagues during the monthly close process, his impact has been immediate. He worked closely with our Sales Leaders—not just to deliver reports, but to deeply understand their operational needs. This dedication is reflected in the Domo dashboards he built to give visibility into performance by client and supplier, as well as T&E reporting that helps leaders manage spend with confidence.
Behind that work is a habit that sets Josh apart: he asks great questions and actively listens. By continuously seeking stakeholder feedback, he identified the key financial insights needed to drive the business forward. These conversations directly led to essential tools our leadership team now relies on, including sales and GP projections, product and margin visibility, and backlog reporting for future planning. Additionally, Josh took the initiative to master Domo and collaborate with IT to deepen his technical skills, using that expertise to educate others. Josh continues to be instrumental in supporting our annual budgeting process.
Josh, thank you for living out our core value of Curiosity every day. Your client-first mindset, commitment to learning, and dedication to sharing knowledge truly embody what it means to be "One in a MIL."
Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition!
Get to Know Josh Savage
We asked Josh a few questions to learn more about his journey at Millennium and to get a closer look at what he’s most passionate about, both in his career and outside of work.
What brought you to Millennium?
I was drawn to Millennium by the opportunity to work in a growing industry and be part of a company that plays an important role in supporting fiber optic and broadband infrastructure. I also saw an opportunity to grow professionally, contribute to the company’s success, and work with a great team.
Tell us about an accomplishment that you’re proud of:
One of my key accomplishments and to me has been such a fun part of this role has been developing an FP&A dashboard in Domo for the leadership team that provides a centralized view of daily business performance. It improves visibility into financial performance, helps identify trends and opportunities, and supports more informed, data-driven decision-making.
What’s a goal you have for yourself that you want to accomplish in the next year?
My goal over the next year is to continue improving financial reporting and forecasting by expanding my use of automation and data analytics. I want to build on the FP&A dashboard I developed in Domo, streamline existing processes, and partner more closely with the business to provide actionable financial insights that support data-driven decision-making.
What are you happiest doing when you’re not working?
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family. Most of my time is spent with my wife, Kayla, and chasing our 16-month-old son, Myles, around the yard or pretty much anywhere except the house. When I do get some free time, I enjoy playing golf and learning more about investing and personal finance.
What is a cause that you care about?
A cause I care about is supporting children and families in our local community. Now that I have a son of my own, I have a greater appreciation for the importance of creating opportunities for kids to grow, learn, and succeed. I think investing in the next generation is one of the most meaningful ways to make a positive impact.

A Message From Josh:

You don’t have to know everything on day one; having the curiosity to keep learning is what makes the difference.
Congratulations, Josh!
Your curiosity, innovative spirit, and client-first mindset make Millennium a better place every day. Thank you for everything you do to move our team and business forward—You’re “One in a MIL,” Josh!
