At 300 ft this is the workhorse length for typical suburban lot depths and mid-block aerial drops, keeping slack manageable at the NID. The tonable member lets locate technicians trace buried drop runs, protecting the fiber from later landscaping and utility digs. Because the SC/APC connector is factory terminated and optically tested, install crews connect at the terminal and splice or terminate only the blunt end, cutting truck-roll time on FTTH activations.
