American Polywater SpliceMaster Type HP (vendor part HP-128, Millennium part 525465) is a 1 gal cable filling compound used to re-flood splice closures after a cable has been opened for repair or a new branch, keeping moisture out of the splice case on outside plant copper cable. Its high-pour-point formulation is built for closures that will see temperature swings in the field. With a 24-month shelf life it stores well on splicing trucks between jobs. Millennium also stocks Polywater Prelube and other splice compounds for the same closure work.
