American Polywater Prelube (vendor part P-128, Millennium part 523763) is a 1 gal lubricant applied to cable and rope before pulling or blowing operations, reducing friction inside conduit so cable placing crews can achieve longer pulls with less tension on the cable jacket. It is used as a pre-treatment ahead of the main lubricant during larger installations. With a 24-month shelf life, it is practical to keep stocked for planned cable placement jobs. Millennium also stocks Polywater's wintergrade Prelube and F-Series lubricants for the same pulling and blowing operations.
